Mangal Dham in Kalimpong, West Bengal, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Guruji Shri Mangaldasji Maharaj. Built in 1940, this two-acre temple features intricate architecture and displays from Lord Krishnas life, symbolising faith and devotion.
3. Zang Dhok Palri Phodong
Zang Dhok Palri Phodong is the largest Buddhist monastery in Kalimpong and houses paintings, thangkas and artefacts.
4. Tharpa Choling Monastery
Established in 1912, Tharpa Choling Monastery is home to holy monks and represents the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism with statues of Bhaisajya, Sakyamuni and Maitreya Buddhas.

5. Thongsa Gompa
Built in 1692 under the directive of the King of Bhutan, Thongsa Gompa belongs to Nyingmapa School of Buddhism and houses statues, thangkas and scriptures. Adorned with frescoes, a unique feature of Thongsa Gompa are its 129 prayer wheels, which is more than the 108 that are considered auspicious in Buddhism.

With the aim to make science fun and interesting for young minds, Kalimpong Science Centre has many interactive activities.
The centre is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 pm.
The centre is closed on Mondays.
7. Lepcha Museum
Founded and managed by Padmashree Sonam Tshering Lepcha, Lepcha Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the culture and traditions of the indigenous Lepcha tribe.Lepcha Museum displays a personal collection of artefacts including articles of worship, original musical instruments, handicraft items, kitchenware and manuscripts showcasing the lifestyle of the Lepcha tribe.
The museum is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
The museum is closed on Sundays.
